Candidates spent the day with family members and party workers

 

Tired after a month long campaigning for the just concluded Lok Sabha elections, candidates who contested the elections, heaved a sigh of relief and spent their first day after the polling yesterday with their family members and close friends discussing about the possible outcome.  

Congress candidate MP AH Vishwanath visited a temple at KR Nagar in the morning and attended a marriage at dhoddakoppalu. 
He came to Mysore by afternoon and thanked the party leaders and left to Madikeri by evening to thank voters and meet party workers. 

JS(S) candidate Chandrashekaraiah spent the day at his home, after attending a funeral of his friend. Some of his close associates paid visit to his house and he has hold talks with them. He said he will take rest for three day, as he is 71 year old and tired campaigning. He will be leaving to Bangalore on Monday, to meet the party leaders.  

59 year old AAP candidate Padmamma said that she was attending lot of calls, which she not attend during the campaign. “After successfully completing my campaign with party workers, now am relaxing. These days are unforgettable  in my life time. This was the first time I lived the different life style.  I had a wonderful experience with my entry to politics for first time. I lived a different lifestyle from last one month,” she added.
  
While, BJP candidate Pratap Simha spent his time with his wife Arpitha and daughter. Arpitha had also campaigned hardly from last one month in district. By evening Pratap Simha met party workers and thanked them. He also took part in the RSS meeting in the evening.   

Independent candiate Praveen said that he took rest for two hours and attended a close aid marriage function. May be from tomorrow i will have some rest. 

BSP candidate C Mohan Kumar was found busy thanking the party workers for extending their support during campaign. He said that he will now have rest for a day or two 

Rathi Poovaiah, Karunada Party contestant who said: “I spent the day at home with my children.”
